Founded in 2014, The Hal Trosky Memorial Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization created in memory of Hal Trosky, Cleveland Indians all-time first baseman (1933 to 1941).

MISSION STATEMENT

The foundation’s objective is to provide lifechanging education and financial assistance for youths (ages 8-18) to receive leadership and character development training, English literacy, financial literacy, college recruiting education, uniforms, equipment, and baseball training entry fees.  Through the game of baseball, young athletes are able to set goals, pursue college degrees, and improve their lives and communities.  Hal Trosky is warmly remembered throughout his community for his selflessness and generosity.
